At Kasheesh, we're always looking for ways to make managing payments easier and more flexible for our users. So we're super excited to announce a new feature: the addition of PIN-codes to our digital Kasheesh Multi-Use Cards!

What does this mean for you?

With this update, you can now use Kasheesh to split payments across multiple cards, even at stores that only accept PIN-based debit cards. This opens up a whole new world of payment flexibility at physical stores, making it easier than ever to use your credit cards for everyday purchases.

A game-changer for Costco shoppers

One great example of how this new feature will benefit you is at Costco. As many of you know, Costco has an exclusive deal with VISA and therefore only accepts VISA credit cards at their physical stores. This means you normally can't use other major credit cards, such as American Express or Mastercard.

But here’s where this new feature comes into play—Costco does accept PIN-based Mastercard debit cards. Now, thanks to the new PIN feature on Kasheesh, you can use your Kasheesh Multi-Use Card (which can draw from any underlying card, including AMEX, Mastercard, or Discover credit cards) to make purchases at Costco.

No more missing out on rewards or struggling with limited payment options!

More ways to use Kasheesh PIN-codes

This is just one example, but there are plenty of other places where you can take advantage of this new feature. Here are a few more:

  1. Supermarkets – Grocery stores that only accept PIN-based debit cards will no longer be a barrier. With your Kasheesh card, you can pay with your preferred credit card while still using your PIN.

  2. Retailers with Debit-Only Policies – Some retailers, especially in certain regions, only accept debit card payments. Kasheesh ensures you can still make your purchase using the credit cards you prefer, all while meeting the retailer’s requirements for PIN-based payments.

How does it work?

It’s simple! To use a PIN with your Kasheesh card, all you need to do is create a Multi-Use Card, and it will automatically have a PIN code that you can locate on the same page where you access your other card details.

If you already have a Multi-Use Card set up, you don’t need to create a new card, your existing Multi-Use Card will automatically have a PIN code added to it. If you’re not seeing the PIN-code in the app, you may need to update the app in your app store so you have the latest version.

Where do I find my PIN code?

In the web app–meaning when you log into Kasheesh directly in your browser–you’ll find the PIN-code listed in the third row beneath your card. Both on desktop and on your mobile device.

In the mobile app–as in, a native app downloaded from iOS App Store or Google Play Store–you’ll find the PIN-code on your card, in the bottom right corner.

So now, when you add your Kasheesh Multi-Use Card to your mobile wallet (i.e. Apple Wallet or Google Wallet), and pay with tap-to-pay, you can use your PIN to complete purchases just like you would with any other debit card.

You’ll still get the benefit of splitting payments across multiple cards, giving you the ultimate flexibility in how you pay, now with even less limitations.
